Jeroen Vermandere will re-interpret the work Massive Trance of Marien van Oers (1955-2013). The performance is based on a 1983 audio cassette that Jeroen found in Breda and has a tight protocol. The duration is half an hour and the piece consists of a constant repetition of sound for the purpose of forming a form of trance. The performance is developed in collaboration with performer Arie de Fijter. In addition, the home-made instruments used by van Oers, ephemera and the original tape with the protocol are shown.
